The Spell
On a sunny day in autumn, the Kind King and Queen had their first son. This angered Marvolo very much. Marvolo went into seclusion, secretly planning a way to get rid of both the prince and the King.On the same day, three years later, Marvolo came out of exclusion for his nephew’s 3rd birthday party. The present, though wasn’t a particularly good one.
Once the time for presents had come, Marvolo approached the young prince, Darrion, and gave him his present. The present, wasn’t something tangible but it amazed the guests of the party nonetheless. Prince Darrion had turned into a fluffy little red fox, with a peculiar patch of dark fur in the shape of the royal plant, a wild poppy. Promptly after performing his spell, Marvolo kidnapped the young prince and abandoned him in a forest.
