Chapter 3.

Moonlit Eyes, Chapter 1

Today was the day. For the first time in his life, Midnight would get to see the Dusk Tribe’s base. Being only a year old, he hadn't been to many places in his life. “Midnight! Willow wants you.” The Dusk Kitten. Her name was Starcry, and Midnight admired her.  “Be there in a minute!” Midnight left his spot in the tall grass in front of the cave and bounded inside. There, Willow was waiting, the other three kittens already ready for his long lecture about something that must be important.
Midnight was the smaller of the four, but the surprisingly magical one of his litter. He looked a lot like Willow, but instead of his underside being white, he had a white spot on his chest. It slightly resembled a crescent moon, but Heatflare, the Solar kitten, said it just looked like an awkward splotch of white paint. Heatflare was an orange and white striped tabby with orange eyes and the perfectionist of the group.
Starcry, on the other paw, was a beautiful black kitten with yellow and white spots on her fur. The spots were small enough to make it look like a part of the night sky had fallen to earth. Her eyes were a beautiful hazelnut color, and everyone could agree she was the pretty one in the group.
And then there was Sundune. She was only a little bit bigger than Midnight, and she barely ate. Being from the dawn tribe -which was not in the war at the moment-, She was mostly pushed aside. The sad thing was, she’s never seen her friend’s smiles or her own fur. Sundune was blind. Other than that, she was very beautiful. Her pelt was a gold color, like her mother's,  and her underbelly was a nice amber color. Her eyes were a  glossed over yellow.
“Ah, Midnight, there you are!” Stripenight was sitting beside the door, quietly waiting for his son. “Daaad, I was just enjoying the breeze!” Midnight whined. “Weren't you supposed to be practicing your magic with Firstmorn?” Willow asked. “Well.. he gave me a pass-'' Midnight was lying. He did this when he wanted to explore outside the cave. “Objection, I sent him to see Clinician because Heatflare ‘accidentally’ attacked him while I wasn't looking…?.”  Uh oh. Firstmorn.
“Is this true?” Stripenight looked down at his son disapprovingly.  “Yes…” With an unamused huff, Stripenight picked up Midnight by his scruff and carried him to the rest of the kittens. “Sometimes I swear I can’t trust you to walk on your own..” He said under his breath as he set Midnight down next to the others. 'Why can't I just be normal?' Midnight wondered. From Midnight’s paws, tiny blue flames started to form. Willow noticed this. “Alright, Midnight, settle down.” the black kitten was confused until he looked down.

Enjoyed 'Moonlit Eyes' – the adventure, the camaraderie among the cats pulled me in. Reminds me of tackling economics homework, quite the adventure in itself. Luckily, https://domyhomework123.com/economics has been like finding an ally in the shadows, guiding me through.
