Scootaloo's story

New Life

Ding! Goes the timer, "yay they are ready."

What smells good?"

"Dad your home!" Scootaloo exclaimed, "I made us some muffins for lunch."

She pushes Soarin to the table and does the same to Rainbow, "I'll be out with lunch."

She comes back and gives them heart shaped muffins, "I hope you like them, Pinkie Pie thought me how to make them."

Once they all finished Soarin grins, "that was the best cupcake Iv ever had."

Rainbow giggles, "yeah, pastries are your weakness."

Scootaloo tilts her head in confusion, "huh."

Soarin looks at Rainbow, "well at the Gala Rainow saved my pie. I love pastries."

Scootaloo nods then does the dishes and comes back out, "so you ready for the tour?"

Soarin nods, "sure thing kiddo." He then kisses Raimbow, "we'll be back before dinner."

Rainbow nods then waves at them from the door and sighs happily.

Soarin and Scootaloo land in front of the library, "this is the library and Princess Twilights home." Soarin nods and they walk on, "this is town all." Scootaloo points as the walk past.

"This is the market place, I was here before I rushed home." Soarin nods and beams at his daughter, "that down there is to the Forrest, nopony except Zecora live there." Soarin nods and they take off to Rarities, "and this is the boutique." The door opens and rarity looks at them, "I herd you giving a tour, who's this handsome colt?" Soarin smiles, "I'm Soarin Miss Rarity, I'm Scootaloo's father."

"Father!" Sweetie bell said and rushed to the door, "woah! It's A Wonderbolt!"

Scootaloo and Soarin chuckle, "yes. I'm super happy now."

Rarity smiles, "well it's nice to meet your father at last, and your mother when will we meet?"

Scootaloo smiles, "you know her more then you know." There was silence then Soarin speaks, "Rainbow Dash is her mother."

Rarity looked shocked, "wha–! She's young."

Soarin nods, "yes we both were too young and in love to realise till this beautiful filly  appeared."

Rarity smilies, "well I'm glad you two didn't forget her." She looks at her clock, "sorry to rush off but in late getting supplies."

She dashes off with sweetie bell, sweetie bell hoof bumps Scootaloo on the way past.

"That was the mare that we went to save then Your mother saved all 4 of us." Soarin said.

They carry on till they arrive at the school, "this is my school." She sees Miss Cheerilee pass by and points, "that's my teacher Miss Cheerilee."

Soarin dips his head as the mare passes and he follows Scootaloo onto a farm she stops at a barn, "this is Sweet Apple Acres, the apple families apple farm."

"Yeeha!" Came a voice and applejack app aired with buckets of apples, "oh howdy Scootaloo, who's yer friend?"

Applebloom walks carrying some buckets of apples to and she smiles at Scootaloo.

"This is Soarin, my dad."

Just as Soarin was about to speak Big Mac appears carrying a mountain if apples, "How's this?"

Soarin smiles, "I'm Soarin, Scootaloo's father."

Big Mac looks between the two, "so you and rainbow dash?"

Soarin nods, at this Big Mac nods, applejack smiles, "well wholly ya lookie, I hope Rainbow is happy."

Soarin nods and applejack smiles, "how about a celebration. You both and Rainbow can join us for a celebration. It'll be nice to celebrate our mothers birthday, marriage and now re unity of a family."

Scootaloo's eyes light up, "a family dinner, Iv dreamt of one for years."

All the others chuckle then Scootaloo and Soarin head off again, "well that's al- oh wait the home I'm in you need to sign papers to say you'll adopt me or something."

Soarin nods, "right, lead on."

They get to the house and Milkweed is outside "Scootaloo!" She runs and hugs her.

"Hey there milkweed, is Mrs. Heart home?"

"Somepony say my name?" Love Heart comes out, "Scootaloo I thought you were with rainbow Dash for the weekend. And who's this?"

Soarin dip his head, "I'm Soarin ma'am, I'm here about Scootaloo."

Light Heart comes out, "Scootaloo you say, nopony wants her, you can take her. So is there a mare In your life?"

Soarin nods, "yes in fact, but we don't want to adopt her."

"Oh, so what did you want Scootaloo for?" Love Heart asks.

"Well she's mine so wanted her back with me and her mother."

Light heart looks him over, "why did you giver her up?"

Soarin rubs his head, "me and Rainbow were young and naïve, we were only teens when she became pregnant, and I wasn't ready for that step so I walked out, Rainbow soon after birth gave her away as for that same reason, she wasn't ready."

Light heart snorts, "that's a pathetic excuse!"

Amore puts a hoof on her husband, "at lest they handed her in and not left her on the door step, it was your mother who answered but with her memory didn't remember what the mare looked like."

Light heart sighs, "your right dear. Soarin I'm sorry."

Soarin replies, "it's ok, I understand where your coming from. If there's anything I can do just–"

"Hey look it's Soarin!"

Light heart an love heart look confused, "how do you know this colt foals?"

Milkweed wriggles out of the crowd, "he's a Wonderbolt."

The love's smile, "well I believe you've done so already."

After all the foals got a picture and autograph they all head back inside leaving just the Heart's, Soarin, Scootaloo, and Milkweed renaming.

"Iv never seen them so excited about something before." Exclaimed Light heart happily.

Soarin smiles, "yeah well the kids are the next generation, if they give up on dreams give them something or Somepony to believe in."

Love heart nods in agreement, "so here's the parents readopting papers, fill out the bottom of pages 1, 8, and 15." And hands him the aqua paper and he signs them.

"Scootaloo I thought you'd always be here for me." Whimpered Milkweed.

Scootaloo hugs her, "i know, I know I'm sorry. If I could do anything I would."

Soarin looks down at them, "can I have a privet word Light."

Light nods and they go inside, "it breaks my heart to see that these two who are pretty much sisters part ways, ill talk with Rainbow when I get home an if she agrees we will adopt Milkweed."

Light heart nods, "you have my word that nopony but us will know of this. If Rainbow agrees then come fill on the papers and well drop her off."

Soarin nods, "ok, when you do meet at the Apple farm Barn at dinner time."

Light heart nods and they shake hoofs then head back to the fillies.

"Right well nice meeting you all. If you need a hand at anytime just pop over and if I'm home ill come."

Love heart smiles and kisses Scootaloo's cheek, "now Scootaloo don't be a silly filly. I'm happy for you, you wished for so long. Good luck."

Scootaloo hugs her back with tears in her eyes, "thank you for everything Mrs. Heart."

Scootaloo and Soarin bid farewell then fly off home.
