A lone wolf and a howl

A lone wolf, and a howl.

Alone wolf standing there in the mist,
No movement,
No sound,
Just its yellow eye
Staring at me,
It blinks
I blink.
Then it raises its head,
To the black sky
I watch not wanting to breath.
It begins to howl,
So beautiful,
So lonley,
Yet haunting.
Then its silent
The wolf watches me
As though  it wants a reply.
So i raise my head and howl.
When i look back at the wolf its closer.
It looks at me then turns and runs into the black night.
