Love is Breathtakingly Bittersweet

When I wake up the house is completely quiet. When I try to move I realize I collapsed again. Ugh my head. What else happened?
“You fell to the floor..but you started crying before hand” I hear Anger whisper gently
I did? Okay...well then that explains my head. Why am I in bed though?
“Xander finally broke through when you collapsed. Too much energy that boy.You need to watch him” Anger says again
Whatever you say Anger. Why did I pass out again?
“I induced a collapse because you were about to make a big mistake” Insanity whispers meekly.
Thank you. I don’t think I remember that mistake I was going to make.
“That my dear is the work of Pain and Love. They wiped the thought out of your mind for your own safety.” Happiness says
I see. When I look around I can only smile because something feels different about the house. I wonder where Xander is? I think I’m going to go by his room on my way down the stairs.
“Whatever you want love” Anger sighs
As I walk by his room I hear a suppressed giggle. What the heck? When I crack the door open what I see is….just too hard to explain. There’s another girl. She’s kissing Xander. How dare he? I can’t believe I chose to trust him then I realize they’re talking about me.
“What are you going to do about that girl Xander?” I hear her ask
“Nothing. She’ll leave after a while then it can be you and me together.” He replies
Oh my god. How dare he? He makes it seem that I have done nothing to help him. I saved his dumb ass. And this is how he repays me? Well we’ll see about this. I turn and silently slip to my room but I slam my door to scare them.
Why am I hurting so much Pain? Why?
“Because your heart is breaking dear. Xander has broken your trust and your heart. You’ll survive though” Pain says calmly
But the thing is...I don’t think he’ll live through this. I feel so angry. I want to kill him.
“No.” Anger says “You can’t hurt him. Just ignore him. Act as though he is nothing to you”
Will that hurt him though? Will that hurt him in any way shape or form?
“Yes. He will feel rejected and that you don’t trust him anymore. He will eventually figure out what he did wrong.”
Okay...I hear foot steps. I should make it look like I don’t care what he thinks right?
“Yes” Insanity says
Okay. Then I hear a knock on my door.
“Echo? Are you awake?” Xander calls
“Yes. I’m awake.” I say
“Will you come out? We need to talk.” He says
“Fine”
When I walk out he tries to hug me but I pull back. After what I just saw I don’t think I could ever hug him or trust him again.
“What’s wrong Echo?”
“None of your business Xander” I snap
“Smart move princess” Anger snaps
“What is your problem? I just want to know what’s bothering you.” he snaps back
“Oh I don’t know maybe it has something to do with not wanting to trust a guy who lies and plans on getting rid of me.” I snap back
He looks like he has been slapped. Maybe I should have slapped him. I turn and storm down the stairs. Then I feel a falling sensation. Holy crap! He shoved me. Then everything goes black.
