"No!" the lady said, with a large smile on her face.Trevor's vision blurred with tears. He couldn't marry who he loved, all because some people were telling him what to do. It was his life. If they didn't want a gay marriage, then they shouldn't get one! With shaking hands, he called Craig. When Craig picked up, they both wept for a few minutes. Craig sniffed and complained about how the votes were stupid. Trevor agreed, his body trembling with his wracking sobs.
Craig called his few friends he knew were gay, and they all cursed and swore until their throats were hurting.
Trevor, Craig, and the ten other gay people in that town all cried themselves to sleep that night.
For every state that makes gay marriage illegal, you can rest assured that there are many people crying themselves to sleep that night.
