Sonic boom: the new hedgehog in town

Chapter 1

        "where's that damn 4th chaos emerald?" I say as I skate around the woods. Suddenly, I crashed into something. "Stay out of my way!" I growl, getting up. "You should watch where you're going!" They snapped back. I look at them. It was a female golden hedgehog. She gets up and dusts off. I sigh and walk ahead. I stop, something told me I should look at her once more. My urge got too strong and I look back. She picks up a bag and some fruit, mumbling something under her breathe. I go back and help her, I didn't know why but I did. "Who are you anyways?" The hedgehog asked. I look at her and I saw her silver eye staring back at me. "I'm Shadow," I say standing up, "Shadow the hedgehog, who are you?"
        The golden hedgehog stands up and adjusts her bag. "Makenna..." She says and she starts to walk off but she stops. She glances over her shoulder. "Thanks, by the way," She says then adds, "I'll see you around." I nodded and she runs off. There was something about her that makes me feel.... weird.... and I think I like it...
        Later that day, I stop by Sonic's house. The last time I saw him was when we battled Lyric. "Hey Shadz," He said as I walk in, "what's up?" I sit down. "Nothing," I say, "just another boring day." Sonic laughed. "What?" I growled. "Nothing." He chuckled. I growled in annoyance and thought about Makenna, Something inside me wanted to know more about the mysterious golden hedgehog. "Shadow are you alright?" Tails asked as he entered the room. "I don't know," I say, "I'm just thinking." Tails sat next to Sonic.  "Mind telling us? " He asked. I sigh. "Earlier I met this girl," I say, I noticed Sonic's face had a smirk,  "She was light golden with silver eyes." Sonic's smirk turned to a grin. "What!" I snap. "Nothing," He chuckled, "go on~." I rolled my eyes and continued.  "There was something... strange about her...she seemed different from the other girls... even if me and her had just met, I felt a familiar connection from her..." I notice the stares of Sonic and Tails. "Why did I even bother sharing this with you?" I mumbled. "Hmm, maybe you should learn more about her, what is her name?" Tails asked. "Makenna." I say.
