What were you expecting?

After a uneventful night of eating nachos, watching TV, and her father swearing her hair made her look like Marilyn Manson, for whatever reason, she finally fell asleep. She shifted in her dream state. Her dreams were filled with the voices of her friends and family.

"Come with me."

"What the HECK were YOU THINKING?!?!"

"Helena, you look like a freaking vampire."

"Oh, look, it's Vampire Freak."

"Oh, I hate YOU."

She jolted awake, sweating.  At 1 in the morning. Did she just hear his, well, Gee's voice whisper to her?

Okay, she was going crazy.

Knowing she probably wasn't going back to sleep, she pulled out her phone.

She had 35 new texts, from both Isaac and Gee.

"Where r u"

"Do you hate me?"

"Meet me at 3 at 235 Clardy Road"

Definitely not there, Isaac. He'd probably try to pull a fast one on her. Nope, relationhip not there yet.

She started watching YouTube out of sheer boredom.

Toxic Tears and It's Black Friday were the best YouTubers she watched.

She just put her mind into watching mindless media until five o'clock.

She plugged her phone up at waited to get called to school.

She started brushing the side of her hair that wasn't shaved. She changed into a Harry Potter t-shirt and some denim shorts with black leggings and Converse. Channel your inner self, said every cheesy spirituality book that was full of morals.

She grabbed a granola bar just as her mom called for her. She ran into the garage, unwrapping it at the same time. She opened her car door and slung herself inside.

She shut the door, buckled her seatbelt, and started eating her granola bar. Her mom got in as well, buckled herself into the seat, and put the keys in the ignition. Then they drove off.
