Prank Calls

The girl finally remembered what she had come for.

"Um, YEAH!! What was that about, Gee? You SCARED me!!!"

Frank seemed to be holding in his laughter.

"GERARD GETS TO EXPLAIN!!"

"Curse you, Frank."

The girl looked confused; at least that was obvious.

Gee sighed after a while.

"So, basically we were playing Truth or Dare... and Frank, well.... he dared me to say something to scare you half to death."

The girl averted her eyes to Frank.

Realizing this was a death stare, Frank shrunk back.

"I-it WAS JUST A PRANK CALL!!"

The girl suddenly looked more weary than she'd ever been. She sat down on the bed, her face in her knees.

"I mean, you're popular! You shouldn't care what us losers think-"

Mikey slapped a hand over Frank's mouth, warning him not to say any more.

The girl looked up, directly into Frank's eyes. Her breathing got faster. She felt tears pricking at her eyes.

Then she started crying.

It started out as a few strangled sobs, and then she started wailing.

Then it seemed all heck broke loose. Ray and Bob were trying to calm her down, Mikey was trying and failing to hold Frank back, and Gerard was frozen as he stared at the wailing Helena.

Running was heard coming down the stairs. After a moment, Donna burst into the basement.

"WHAT'S GOING ON!?!?"

The chaos stopped as soon as she came in. Piercing sobs echoed throughout the basement; echoing.

Donna looked at the messy haired, red-eyed crying girl sympathetically.

"I think it's time for her to go back home now."

She helped the girl up and escorted her out of the room.

Everyone stood there awkwardly for a few minutes.

Then Frank said quietly for the first time ever, "I'm leaving too."

He left.

Bob soon followed.

Then Ray.

Mikey left to go to his room.

Leaving the black-haired male alone...
