...they pulled up in the parking lot. Paramedics rushed out of the back of the ambulance. They put the unconscious male on a stretcher and ran back inside of the ambulance, probably to stem the blood flow.
One of the doctors approached the two.
"Explain everything that happened as best you can."
The young woman hiccuped, staring at her feet, tears pouring down her face.
"S-so M-mrs. Way, I m-mean Donna, s-she told me t-that G-Gerard hadn't c-come back a-after a while, s-she drove me here a-and..."
At this moment, she was so distraught, there was no getting another word out of her.
The young woman remembered all the memories she had with Gee.
