The First Clue Ch. 1
It was his birthday and he was so excited about everything. His crush, Lola would be there. She had long brown hair that if you touched it at the right angle felt just like silk. His mom had arranged a birthday party in his honor.Lola would be there and so would the entire student body. It would be a night to remember. Lola asked to visit John alone. When they were in the kitchen Lola handed him a present. Inside was a photo of her. "There's more" she smiled.
"What is it" John asked eagerly. Lola leaned in to kiss him. John was nervous at first and his eyes darted across the area. Finally, he leaned in to. As soon as their lips touched Lola pulled back. "Ouch" they said at the same time. It felt scaly. Lola got up.
"Where are you going? We we were kissing" he said. "Maybe on your next birthday" she smiled and with a flip of her hair left the room. He felt his lip. What had happened?
