Im stranded on this stupid island. Stormgod won't let anyone leave. That's nonsense. What will we do here? I've been tossed around in all different directions trying to get down to the beach where the ships are but for what? Everyones dead. Everyone I came with. Dead. I can't leave here. I hear shouts and cries. Cries of the Oni. They've been looking for me for... I don't know how long. If they find me. They'll take me back to Him. Nyne. The leader of this cult trying to make the stormgod stronger. He needs me to be his wife. I spat in his face the first day I saw him, Escaped, and now here I am. Many days later. Avoiding captivity. His assistant Pace is such a scared little doll. She is just a machine to him. Always working. Taking orders. But he doesn't want her. He wants me. He likes me. Too much. But I hate him. He's not ugly at all but he disgraces me. The cries are getting closer. About... four of five of them. I dash across the forest. Dodging branchs and traps along the way. Theres a full moon tonight. I look to my left and spot a small opening to cave. I run to it and quickly crawl in. The Oni aren't going to catch me in here. They're not small enough. I move back slowly. Suddenly, someone grabs me from behind holding my arms together with one hand and his other hand grabbing my neck. He's coming close to my neck. What is he doing? Who is this guy? I will kill him I swear!
"I know those Oni soldiers need you. I know that you're running away from someone. I can help you. But you need to make a choice. Either, you let me take a bite out of your sweet neck and take you to my life or... I'll let the Oni take you to their "leader". Which one is it?" This guy is insane. I've seen canniballs on my way down but none like this. NONE like this. He puts his teeth on my neck and I instantly bend over and sweep him with my leg. He's quick and recovers but I kick him in between his legs. He's toppled over. I see the Oni staring at me through the space. I run the other way through the cave but the ground gives way underneath me and I end up sliding down the cave. Right at the edge I fall and see a giant sharp stick sticking out of the ground on the corner of my eye. I try to tilt my body to the side but as I fall down a piece of the wood sticks right through my side. The pain I felt was unbearable. I felt weak and dizzy. I was going to collapse. Then, that strange man was standing there. Me on my knees staring up at him. He looks blurred. Smudged. I feel lightheaded. The ceiling is collapsing. Same as me as I fall to the ground.
