The mystery of the golden key

Finding the key

Once upon a time there was a brother and sister named Eliza and Carl. One day Eliza and Carl were playing in their parents study because it was raining. Eliza was running around and dancing when she found a small pink box on the floor. She opened it and found a gold glimmering key. She called   Carl and he came running as fast as his fat little legs could carry him and gasped at the sight of the key. At that moment their mother called them down for dinner. They ran down the stairs and sat  down in their chairs. Then Eliza said " Where is Dad?" "Oh he is in the kitchen finishing the stew." her mother answered quietly as Carl and Eliza exchanged glances and Eliza nodded. Carl said "Guess what we found mother"  Their mother gave him a nervous look and then said " What dear?" Carl opened his mouth to speak but Eliza said " This." and placed the key on the table.Her mother screamed, and  her father came dashing in and saw the key lying on the table. "Give it to me." he said bitterly. "Only is you tell us what in unlocks." Eliza said calmly. " No!" her father said strictly and made a grab for it but Eliza grabbed Carl`s hand and pulled him out the door. They continued running down the dark wet street until they turned around and could not see the house any more.
