Twilight Sparkle Meets Moonlight Sparkle

Octavia's Lessons

Octavia introduced herself to all of us, but she bowed down to me, "Princess Twilight, it is an honer to be here and meet our new princess." she said elegantly. I could tell she was from Canterlot by the way she was talking, walking, and treating royalty. I looked at her and told her to rise. I wasn't used to this, this way that ponies would treat a princess. I was used to giving respect, not getting it. She walked over to her cello and instructed the girls to chose and instrument of their choice. The instruments she had out were all in the string family ( I read a book on instruments a while ago). A bass, violin, viola, and of course a cello. Sparkle Sky chose the viola, Honey chose the bass, and Moonlight chose the violin. I sat and watched the lesson. I found out that my cousin had a talent for instruments. She learned how to play all four of them by the end of the lesson. The next day she did the same thing with the brass family. Moonlight once again learned how to play a trumpet, trombone, horn, and even the tuba in one day! The next two days I wasn't there to see what happened, but I knew by the time Octavia left, she knew everything about instruments and so did her friends. It was the end of the first month and they became very popular. One day Moonlight came to me and invited me to one of her gigs at Sugar Cube Corner. I was so excited! I was going with all my friends for the best night ever! That was until I received a letter from Princess Celestia and it wasn't good news.
