"Mom?" I asked. "Yes, me. And those guards thought I was dog chow. Will that happen to my daughter and of all things I hope not. If she can handle it and does want to become chow she can stay" Jaulana glanced at me. I felt my skin crumble. Not because I was going to give in to mom and quit my dream, but because I had nothing to say to her. Nothing. I lowered my head. " I'm staying here and I'm not leaving" I said. Jaulana looked away. "Very well" she said. Then she looked up. "You really want this don't you?" she said slowly. "I do" I said a smile hinting at the corners. "Well, then, I won't be the one to stop you" she said. I hugged her with relief, happy that mom understood. "But, Madison, fame's not easy to tame" she said. "Shut up and let's make a music video" I giggled and we walked into the MV Room grinning. "You have to change" he said. 20 minutes later, I had on makeup and the perfect clothes for my song, Hey, When Ya Hear That(You Better Get Up).
