Stepping into the light

Stepping into the light,
Now I see,
That I’m not the only one,
Clawing at the wall,
Hoping to find the way out.
Each day we look for inspiration,
For something to give us an idea.
Something that we can use as experience.
But when we find it,
We don’t know that we found it,
We think we need to keep looking,
We ignore the fact that we have an amazing life,
We think we have a horrible life.
Until we see the light.
Then it all hits us in the face,
Hard.
Then we see it all and we can’t help but feel dumb.
Like why didn’t I think of that?
Then we see it all the past and we know we can change the future.
We walk and choose what we say,
Choose who we meet and become friends or enemies with.
