The Insomniac

Eric

Eric, was 14 years old. He loved to look outside through his window. Although Eric was quite normal, he did have insomnia. Every night he would have trouble sleeping and would often just lay down and stare out his window. One night Eric managed to get some sleep and woke up the next morning feeling weird. A few days later, Eric's mother took him to the doctor but there was nothing wrong with him. When Eric got home he noticed a scratch on his window, it was small and barley noticeable, something a bird or other small animal left, or so he thought.
