Arthur Kirkland: Yes, different. I wish we weren't so... I'm not sure what word I'm looking for. Controlled? I just- I don't feel that I should be in danger for not being 'perfectly obedient'. I don't feel that I should have to- Subscribe, to whatever agenda they're pushing with utmost passion and zeal! Does that make sense?
Kiku Honda: It does, and I agree with you. I do also wish for a world of where we doing something of our own, doesn't have See More to be confirmed or not by our governments. Where if we do out own thing, it isn't concerted treason, just a sign of that they need to trust us. Trust...that's what this world needs. Trust...

We must be able to say that we believe in our government and be able to justify their actions around other nations so that our nation will seem strong- but what if all of us are lying? Arthur Kirkland: No, it's alright. You are allowed to think differently, you know. That's the point of being different. But all the same, I believe you're right about some nations not thinking it necessary to pursue knowledge, considering our lengthy lifespans. Now that is a silly mistake.
Kiku Honda: Hai, it is. If we live so long, why not do something with it? Using the knowledge See More our citizens learned, and ourselves over the years and help out our own countries more. That's why I don't understand when some countries don't go to school more.
Arthur Kirkland: Exactly! I've had this exact argument with Spain a dozen times, he doesn't seem to understand moving forward, or the inportance of being close to the people and learning from them. We can do so much if we learn and work for it! At least to some extent. France would argue that we can't do anything, since our government makes all of the decisions, but we can do things outside of our governments!
Kiku Honda: Precisely! I never knew we had so much in common, Arthur. We can do things outside of out governments. We are nations, but that doesn't mean that we have nothing but paperwork. We have a lot of free time, which can be spent helping or citizens learn, and to have ourselves learn from them. Making our countries grow while doing so.
Arthur Kirkland: I always suspected so, you are a very reasonable fellow. We can do so much for our countries outside of our orders- Not just our countries, the world! It doesn't even have to be about our countries! At least, I don't believe it does. What little we can do might not be monumental, but at least it's something.
Kiku Honda: Little things can always make it bigger if one tries hard enough to make it happen. Even if it doesn't seem like much now, in about one hundred years, what we've done to help will be a change. It doesn't have to happen right away for it to be a change, it just has to happen in time. Even if it's just you and I going to school to help our countries, later on, it will be bigger than that.

Kiku Honda: Correct, we must not go too far beyond our governments boundaries, but just enough to make sure that we've done something to help. We cannot be helpless slaves to our governments, but we also cannot be rebellious wolves. Our balance must be perfect, like light and dark. Good and evil....the perfect balance.
