Why do people cheat?

Question

I see no point in cheating(Relationship). I think it stupid that someone would check, If your partner does satisfy you then break up with them. No-one should have to got through the emotions caused by cheating

Cheating is usually caused by missing sexual pleasure or something wrong in the relationship.

It can also be done because the person they are cheating on has something they can gain.
