Do Wisdom Teeth extractions hurt?

I've been thinking about teeth, lately. I'm getting more focused on the things that HAVEN'T happened yet. One of them is Wisdom Teeth. I feel one growing in, I think this is the impacted one. I feel like the other ones will grow out healthy and useful. I might get them extracted anyway. Just to compliment my gums. Are they painful to remove though?

They knock you out, so the extraction doesn't hurt, but when the numbness wears off it may hurt.
