Cuz he black and red and has guns and is a bad ass and is emocional and yeah XD I know he isn't, but it's funny to think about

I don't think Shadow's emo. I think he's just upset with the loss of Maria and he's afraid to lose more people he could care about.

I wouldn't say he's emo I think he's just depressed since he lost his first friend Maria he's very quiet and doesn't talk much to others which is why he doesn't smile but at times he does smile which makes me happy that Sonic and his friends cheer him up

true, but still i think that he's emo because he still remembers how maria got killed. plus, in 1st cutscene of shadow the hedgehog, he says that he still remembers the "gruesome/ugly/disgusting" image of maria when she was shot.

i think that shadow's an emo because he still has the memory of losing maria and molly (molly's from sonic x episode)
