Why do websites do this?

So, you know how Qfeast has an appropriate age and over? That's like 9 or 8 or even 7. But if somebody clueless and young was to accidentally sign in, than they would probably click a random age, right? Because they are so young they probably won't click their actual year date. Why?

I dont understand your question. But websites have age limits because it may have stuff on the site that is inapropriate to younger people. And kids dont put their real age so they can join the website

They ignore it to be funny, or like to join the website by lying.
