What does your family do for the holidays?

Whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or something else, your family probably has traditions for the holidays. For instance, my family celebrates Christmas, and on Christmas Eve, we go over to my Grammy's house to open presents from my mom's side of the family; on Christmas day, we open family presents at home, and then go to my Nana's house to open presents from my dad's side of the family.

Since my mum is half Danish, and the Danes have a lot of Christmas traditions, we follow them.
Firstly, we get to have RICE PUDDING for DINNER instead of dessert! :D BONUS!
Danes also celebrate their Christmas Day when we have Christmas Eve, so we all get one big mega-present pack on Christmas Eve, curl up in front of the fire, and watch The Polar Express :D
