It totally ok. Cus look im friend with girls but im also friends with boys and its different but fun at the same time and i like we can all walk up to the park in 1 big crowd and get along and have fun. There is nothing wrong with that ata ll i like having friends that are girls and i like having friends that are boys.

i don't have much experience but once it is clear (for the girl or guy) that they won't be romantically involved then it's good to be friends :) as Madison said it depends on personality and with what approach the other person is taking and his ideas about you! sometimes it's good to call your guyfriend "bro" or "brother" or something like that to show that you don't tend toward romantic feelings etc! girls and guys can obviously be friends and personally guys will never be jealous See More▼ of you unlike girls who have complicated feelings about their (girl)friends sometimes
