What are some signs of depression?

-you feel worthless
-sadness never ends
-tiredness
-you say negative stuff about yourself,out loud and in your head
-you may self harm
-you lower the amount you eat (like ALOT)
-you want to be dead,and find no point of liveing

My friend has depression. Sometimes she's just really distant and stuff. And she would text me at night saying how she just didnt feel anything. That she felt empty, emotionless, but sad too. She doesn't have to take mess cuz hers isn't too bad. Just ask her how she's feeling. Not trying to be mean or rude, but it's not really your business. She may be struggling with it, but in the end it's between, her, her parents, and her doctor. so give her space and try not to pry:) hope See More▼ this helps. um well my friend infact most of my friends are depressed but you just need to be strong and talk to her. make you think she is worth it. That's what I did with my friend and now he has recovered

I'm depressed, so I'll help you. <:) Okay. So if they're distant....and don't really have an opinion on things. If they seem like they're emotions are out of whack (sadder, angrier).
