What was the first pokemon?

I don't know... but I do know that Bulbasaur was the first part for the trainer's option from the far beginning...but as for Mew in the other hand...is a mythical pokemon that was made from the inner past such as the story part of Mew vs Mewtwo the first movie and the one in game boy is kinda confusing as well... but then again... it's really hard to say...it See More▼ could be either on of them because of how they are made so far...I'm going to guess that Bulbasaur was the first pokemon that was created because it was way longer from the past then Mew from reality... so I'm kinda guessing that it could've been it...
