I researched this, and what I found is that this was actually the term for a bunch of Franz Liszt fangirls back in the 19th century. It's kind of like "Beliebers" or "Directioners." They called themselves "Lisztomaniacs" and diagnosed themselves with "Lisztomania."
There was also later a song called "Lisztomania."
