Edit to clarify more: She posts a lot abt bullying and assault and it makes me feel sick to my stomach like the vibes. Nothing abt her acc feels right or that she's trolling I don't think she's See More okay mentally I think she genuinely needs help.

Also last post I love how the movie doesn't start out at a time that's convenient for the viewer but for the plot. Otherwise it would be crammed and too long. I like how there's room for the viewer to interpret the start of how Veronica started hanging with the heathers, and how she got where she was at the beginning of the movie. The movie makes it obvious without telling you how it all started which is nice bc the pacing is much better without the how it all started crap

I'm Heathers posting bc I watched the movie again for the first time in forever yesterday and forgot how much I loved it

the Heathers musical is a great rendition of the movie. The soundtrack is so good (apparently there's a new soundtrack idk n e thing abt that one) the changes they made in terms of scenes and characters make sense but it's not the movie. The movie characters are more realistic and on brand. The biggest example is Veronica. Movie Veronica is less wishy washy and has a backbone enough to realize J.D. was not who she thought, which is very true to her character and how she's supposed See More to play a part in scenes and the outcome of the movie. Musical Veronica was obviously exaggerated bc that's what musicals are but she was too attached and emotional, which doesn't always suit the purpose of her character. I like how Heather Mcnamara was given more depth with lifeboat but but but it was forced. In the movie her feelings are revealed through the call and then the following day the ~thing~ happens and we see another scene making an example of her and Veronica's bond. There's so much more to say but I'm too lazy rn
