When I was in DC for the parade, my trans friend and I were verbally and physically attacked by a man in a confederate flag shirt.
A man in a confederate flag shirt referred to my african american friend as a "worthless n*gg*r" and said I should "distance myself from human trash because I am a white female"

if you haven't heard what happened in Manchester, there was a suicide bombing at the Ariana Grande concert. My cousin was there and her best friend was sadly killed. My thoughts to anyone affected by the tragedy. England is my home, and I am deeply saddened to see these events in my home city.
