I miss Voltron. I know it sounds stupid since they really messed up the last few seasons, but I loved the characters...and the plot, at the start.

I remember my bisexual awakening so clearly.
Acquaintance at the time (now a close friend): Woah, you watch Voltron? Are you straight? Wow, sorry if that was rude, but no one straight watches Voltron.
Me: I'm straight.
Them: Well then you're the only straight person I know who watches Voltron!
~ A few weeks later ~
Me: *Watching Voltron Season 3 and sees Acxa appear* Holy shi- she's hot?? Does this make me a furry or gay?

I've been so inactive due to visiting my grandparents in Canada, and I sat beside this teenage girl on the subway who gave me directions and talked to me the entire ride to my stop. First off, I had dropped some money without even realizing it and she full on just said 'excuse me miss, you dropped this' and handed me my twenty dollar bill. Then she was nice enough to continue the conversation I had initiated after that, and kept the conversation flowing, even when I didn't know See More▼ what to say. She also offered me some food and welcomed me to Canada since I told her I was visiting, bless. I still can't get over it.

And everyday, I thank the ballet gods for giving me the opportunity to see it multiple times a week. Especially with our staging for Sleeping Beauty.

I don't understand. Why do adults think everything needs to be 'hip' and 'modern' and 'contemporary' nowadays?? It's a professional ballet, for God's sake, not an amateur middle school production.
