CBG, or cannabigerol, is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in cannabis and hemp plants. It is sometimes called the “mother cannabinoid” because its acidic precursor, CBGA, serves as a starting point for the formation of other cannabinoids, including CBD and THC, as the plant matures.
