S**cidal alters are alters who engage in activities intended to harm the body and may make attempts on the body's life while they are fronting, or entertain these behaviors while inside the headspace. These behaviors are sometimes persecutory in nature, but can often be the result of an emotional response to holding trauma, as well. These alters may be sensitive or secretive. It's possible to find healthier outlets to these behaviors if you are a s**cidal alter, just as there are solutions with any single person. You don't have to be this way forever; all of these roles are fluid.
