I'm sorry to bug ya'll in your newsfeeds yet again about my problems but idk if this is toxic, bad rolemodel, or whatever I need some opinons.
So I was talking to my mom about what I was gonna talk to this friend of mine about and it turned to "Oh I gotta realize I'll never have a relationship with you, I thought things were getting better, blah blah blah" and here I am thinking I'm the asshole for saying I can solve things my own way and not her way. What is this?

I understand too exactly how it feels. Parents seem to think their kids have to be perfect copies of them, even though we really don't have to be. I don't get why they think that way, but that's why I can't tell mine anything I want to either.
