Why do Mary Sues tend to have a bad backstory, and "be perfect"?
Its impossible to be "perfect" and have a bad backstory. I mean, technically, yeah- if thats the reason why, however, mentally its impossible. That'll follow them, and probably trigger a memory eventually.
