Story idea:
The main character is someone who can only smell certain things. Like, if someone is feeling upset, the main character will smell something bitter. Same with eye colors
Their best friend/ crush always smells a bit like grapefruit, a smell the main character disposes. They also always have gray eyes.
One day, he notices something: they smell like oranges and their eye color is hazel.
