I actually feel like that a lot of little kids who know what it is feel comfortable as identifying as asexual just because at the time sex is just sorta like "ew" But then grow out of it.
Not saying this to invalidate any actual asexual kids out there tho you can still know who you like no matter how young, that's exactly why crushes exist.
