"That little baby hath been gifted with a voice, to second and confirm the counsel which thou hast heard. Speak out the name! That, and thy repentance, may avail to take the scarlet letter off thy breast."

My first master's name was Ludwig. I do not remember his last name. He was generally called Captain Ludwig—a title which, I presume, he acquired by helping lead the Nazi army.
