Instead of pointing out thinks that are wrong, point out things that are right. Like, "my hair looks really good today" or "my eye color is really pretty"

One of my favorite teachers died. I had her for two years and I learned so so so much for her. She was my inspiration to become and actress, and I thank God I had the time to get to know her, and I hope she enjoyed getting to know me. Hard to believe I'll finish my high school years without her. It never occurred to me before, but I would have really liked it if she was there to see me walk across the stage on graduation day. I was going to invite her to my spring play, just See More▼ to show her how far I've come, and now, she can't, and I don't know how I'm going to without her. All I can say is that although her time on earth was short, I'm glad I got to spend that fraction of her life with her.
