They're taking down statues of Confederate officers and generals and presidents.
STOP.
What they did was terrible, but you can't get rid of history. You have to take the good with the bad. Stop defacing the statues and tearing them down. You're supposed to embrace the history and remember what happened in order not to repeat the mistakes. I say, put those statues back up. I'm not patronizing them, but history can't be forgotten because "it offends people". Piss off See More with that nonsense lmao

it's not "promoting hate". just because people make it seem bad, doesn't mean it's worse than it actually is. i don't like what they did to my ancestors at all, but if you take those statues down, you might as well take out what they did in the history books and history classes and off of the internet, too. then how are people supposed to know what they had to See More endure? i'm not saying i like them, they can go burn in hell. but people need to know what history america was built upon, the good AND the bad.

I don't want to argue, but those statues and all of the Confederacy stands for racism, white supremacists, and nazis nowadays. as early as the 20th century is when it became a symbol of hate. and yes, while we can't just erase that part of history, we don't need those statues up to promote hate

well, another good thing is that i saw 2 lizards today
and they were cute
but i didn't see my everyday visitor lizard fren
he was scared of me when i went to touch him
but i ended up actually getting closer to him than before and i was happy
