Not an indie game but an older game. Neverwinter nights 2. High fantasy roleplay with a bit of combat. A character customiser that is well beyond anything, even today, and characters you can fall in love with. Big, open world and just lots of fun.

Yume Nikki is really obscure and abstract (in a way), but I love it
There's no fighting or jumpscares or anything
It's a beautiful pixel game where you just collect stuff. That's all there is to it, really
My favorite effects are the Bicycle and the Yuko-unna (or however it's spelled)
The Y-u effect doesn't do anything, it just makes it snow, but there's a rly pretty snow woman you get to play as, so that's rly cool
The Bicycle effect just lets you go fast and it's rly helpful, See More yee
