...first off, my brother is part of the reason what im going through, so he will hate me, not sure about others, my friend says people who self harm go to hell, thats not true so she will most likely hate me because she may think it is true, my friends around me make jokes about suicide and self harm and make me feel a bit awkward...

Hmm..because life isnt worth it, you get away from jerks and it makes it all better. Plus, why is life worth living if you arent worth living it in the first place, we all die anyway.
