I come in a home with many friends. You hit me against my home, again and again. When I do what you want, you touch me to something and I bring pain to it, and then it dies because of me. But by me touching it, I also melt your ice and thaw you out. If you choose not to touch me to that, then you touch me to a black stick. The stick turns orange and I die bringing you light. What am I? (Please put 'a' in front of your answer, and a period after it.)

I sit with all four legs on the ground. I have one foot. You dress me in clothes that I never use, but you do. You leave me alone much of the time, yet you love me. Sometimes, you stack me. When you are ready to be with me, you lie down with me and I take you away to a land where anything is possible. Yet you feel no sorrow when you replace me. What am I? (Again, please put 'a' in front of your answer and put a period after it.)

I am feared by most, and can kill some. I don't mean to kill them. A lot of people are afraid of me and don't like me, despite the fact that I always provide a delicious treat. I have a lot of friends, and we live all together. We have a constitutional monarchy for our government. Some of us work, but not all. Our leader has lots of babies. Sometimes we hurt you, but we don't mean to make you cry. We don't understand why you don't like us. We make combs with beautiful patterns, yet they don't belong in anyone's hair. We are even brutally trapped in boxes so you can make us work as slaves, making sugary treats for you. When we're not servants, we visit gardens and make more flowers, yet you still shun us. I see things differently then most of you, but Monet viewed the world like me. What am I? (Again, please put 'a' in front of your answer and put a period after it.)

We are very useful. Without us, it'd be tough to tell the time. Seeing how much would be next to impossible. We make rankings in competitions easy to understand. We love order, and only in a thick book can be seen in a different order. We are crucial in school, we're the foundation of a subject, and we make some of you frustrated. We let you buy things and sell things. We have products, but not the kind you're used to. We have differences, but we don't let that get between us. In one level, we have a party with the alphabet. What are we? (Sorry, this one was easy! In your answer, please put a period.)
