ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE? I have a cavalier king charles spaniel and she is 6 years old. I've noticed she has been off her food for a couple of days and has vomited a couple of times, but i didn't think much of it as shes always in vets with mystery illness' that they don't know what it could be. But all yesterday she looked like she was struggling to open her bowels. Last night i let her outside and noticed her feces looked unusual so picked it up with blood, however there was no poo it was just a big clot of blood that was really dark and tarry in color. I rang the vets but they are unable to see her until tomorrow morning. However i came home today to find a floor covered in diarrhea, sick, with blood. She has since been vomiting a few times and ive noticed now that there is blood in her vomit.. The vets are still unable to see her until tomorrow and im really worried.. Does anyone know what i can do.. or is it best to just ring the out of hours vets?!!

Keep the vet on speed dial. This happened in a very miner way to my dog and it did cost a lot to help her but it was worth it. We got some pills and changed her diet to special dog food for dogs with bad digestion. It's probably a digestive system problem and it could be a very dangerous illness. It's defiantly something that she ate. That would be why she wouldn't eat it again. Seriously, worry. Make sure she only eats medical soft food for dogs and is watched all the time. If See More she is eating grass, don't let her, it will cause constipation. Actually I bet it's a mix of constipation and a stomach illness of some sort. Just in case, if she dies it was not your fault.
Please go to the animal hospital right a way! This is serious!!!!! And save your money for vet bills. I hope this helps.

It sounds like she ate something, Causing her a lot of pain too it sounds like. Tell the vets that she needs to be seen NOW... your dog might require emergency surgery to save her life.

CALLL THE VETS IMMEDIETLY!!!! TELL THEM YOUR DOG IS VOMITTING UP BLOOD!!! IF THEY STILL WONT TAKE YOU IN, GO TO THE PET HOSPITAL!! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!!! WHILE YOU CALL, BRING YOUR DOG OUTSIDE AND LET HER HAVE AIR. GIVE HER SOME WATER! YOU CANNOT LET HER JUST COUGH UP BLOOD. TRY TO MAKE HER EAT SOMETHING!!! THEN SHE WON'T THROW UP JUST BLOOD. I HOPE I HELPED.
