What's the name of the game

In this game, I remember you had your own little world which you eventually had to build bridges, to get to other places in it. It was a virtual world sort of like virtual villagers however you had really cute aliens with large-ish eyes. They had eggs ( which were babies) and I think I remember they worshipped a GIANT egg. I found it so fun when I was younger, and I loved the graphics. Does anyone know the name- also I got it off of bigfish.com!
