Is Cole MacGrath really dead?

Ok so I just got done playing InFamous 2 and Cole died. But the thing is, lightning struck his coffin. Since fhey use electricity as heart restarters and you use electricity to heal yourself in the game, I'm thinking he's alive. What about you?
