What should I do? Please comment!!
So my dog, Roxy was abused when she was a puppy so she hates people she doesnt know and she hates men (probably because the person who abused her was a man) she also hates people when their wearing hats. (probably because the person who abused her liked wearing hats) My mom is thinking of giving her away and getting a minature poodle should i convince her to help me train Roxy? or should i not do anything? PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE!!!!!

What this dog needs is a home, a family, a loving owner. You need to be the owner, or else, the next owner could be somebody like your mom and give her up again, or she could end up with an owner that is confused why she hates those things and could also beat her. Keep her, love her, give her a home and a family. That's all she needs and wants.

I agree i have a dog named poncho he was abuseed but he hated such thngs he is afraid of water because he thinks its ammoinia cuz his owners sorayed him with it but just keep trying and show ur mom that roxy is a great dog! LLAMA LLAMA AAAALLLLLLPPPPPPAAAAACCCCCCCAAAAAAAAA LOLOLOOLOLOLOLOL

ok well i know she is prob afraid so just talk to her nicely give her lots of treats and she will learn to trust you and find a hat some where and put it on so if she says grrrr take it off and put it away and talk nicely agian then give her treats then try it agian if she does not say any thing then give her a treat then let her get used to you then get a guy to come to your house and tell him to talk nicely and give her treats do this once a week at first then 2 times a week See More▼ and she will calm down then you can have your chance to train her hope this helps so i wish you luck and hope you can keep roxy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

move the treat around the hat. Then leave the treat on the hat and walk away. let her eat the treat then do this again later. once or twice a day. after a while have the man give her the treat by hand then after a while of that have him (with the hat on) go and pet her.

O.K ............ So I've read many dog training books... and trained have trained my dog as well. This might seem strange but I need you to get a -dog treat, a "man" , and a hat. Have the man put the treat in his pocket , have him put the had on . then get him as close to your dog as possible. Then if she starts barking, snarling ,whimpering etc Have him take if the hat.
