Botter! A choice of his fate.

Botter! A choice of his fate.

Once upon a Time there was a sweet little Botter, A Botter is a mix between a beaver and an otter. Choose his fate, it may seem cruel... would you prefer him in a duel? You can save his life or choose not to, His fate hangs in the choice you do.

Who will save and who will kill?
Finding out is such a thrill.
Follow your heart and not your mind,
and remember to always be kind.

The cat has sharp claws with teeth that pin,
with her by his side, he just might win.
The bird can fly high and save him from a beast,
he could keep Botter from being a feast.

The creature he chose heard something nearby,
it told him run or sprout wings and fly!
Who do you think that creature might be?
Choose carefully, his fight you'd see.

The cat would fight for him till her last breath,
She'd give him her life and stand before death.
The Bird would shield him from all that would harm,
not to mention the beauty and charm.

After the fight that had to ensue,
food in his tummy was surely due,
who hunted for him to feed and fatten him up?
Either to eat him or see him grow up?

The cat is a great hunter and she loves him a lot.
I won't believe that this is a plot.
The Bird carried him and hunted some mice,
He loves Botter, He wouldn't think twice.

Botter felt loved, He felt like he was the creatures child,
The love it showed him was sweeter and mild.
It snuggled with him to keep him warm,
Who do you think has such a loving swarm?

The cat loves him just as she loves a kitten,
Just because no one thinks so, doesn't mean it shouldn't be written.
The bird loves him just as he loves his chick,
It could never be a trick.

They found themselves in an open land,
It wasn't what Botter had planned.
Was he led astray or taken to a safer place?
I'll let you think on this one, let your mind wander to space.

The cat would never jump and eat him, I refuse to believe!
You're just saying such things in order to deceive!
Don't be cruel and make the bird turn on the little thing!
Your lies will never ever take wing!
