You wake up early. Waiting for your mentor, you descide to challenge yourself. What do you do to impress yourself?

Ask an older apprentice to practise some harder battle moves with me just outside the
camp with sheathed claws.
Confidently tell an apprentice to come with you to practice, even when she's sleepy.
Kindly ask a friend to help you get some harder moves and hunting crouches right and
carefully listen to advice.
Pad out of the camp and swiftly climb the nearest tree, carefully placing your paws.
Go into the forest and open your jaws to scent prey. Skilfully stalk a mouse nearby and
bring it to the elders.
Creep in the shadows, trying to surprise a mildly dozing senior warrior, putting your paws
quietly and well.

Your mentor pads out of his/her nest who is it?

Ivypool. She is a very good mentor in pretty much everything but she often takes me on
night training sessions saying my pelt blends in perfectly with the shadows and it's my
advantage.
Cloudtail. He is a very good tracker. Skilled and confident while following a trail. He
knows lots about the surrending, second best in the Clan after Dovewing!
Cinderheart. We like climbing in the trees and we're both good at it. I like the way she's
always sure of where to put her paws, just like me.
Squirrelflight. She is a very good warrior! I wonder when she'll be the leader. She's very
good at leading cats, in patrol and in battle. She taught me well.
Dovewing. It's not her super senses that I like, it's the way she trusts Clanmates with her
life and would always be the first to volunteer when someone is in trouble!
Lionblaze! Even without his power he is a very brave and skilled cat. He knows more
advanced battle moves than all of the Clan combined, I love practicing with him!

Wow, what a great mentor! He/She now says you should eat something because the training will begin soon.

A kit is just about to take my favorite, a thrush. I tell him that I need it more because I'll
have my assesment and he scampers away.
I pick something bigger to keep my strenght up, like a squirrel or shrew.
I pick something light but delicious to keep my strenght up but make me feel light, like a
mouse.
I pick something bigger and offer to share it with a Clanmate.
I pick a black sparrow for myself, the elders say that it's black feathers make you harder
to see at night...Worth a try.
I pick a mouse, it keeps up my strenght, I like it and it dosen't really make me feel heavy
like a rabbit does.

Your mentor winks at you and tell you to follow him/her. What do you feel?

Your mentor winks at you and tell you to follow him/her. What do you feel?
Confident!
I feel like I could flick a badger away with one claw!
A little bit nervous! Is it a test?
Maybe a little anxious, but I'm sure it'll be fine.
I wanna make my mentor proud.
Pretty much all right. Nothing unusual, really.

Where do you arrive?

Where do you arrive?
Oh! The sandy clearing! Great!
Err...that's the border. Mouse-brain. Why are we here?
Oh! We join a hunting patrol! That's nice.
My best place! The Ancient Oak!
We casually pad around the territory. Weird. Huh.
All right...that's queer...the Abandoned Two-Leg place.

What do you do next?

What do you do next?
I'm told to patrol the border, with any three cats of my choice.
I'm asked if I want to revise anything, so we do the badger defence routine because I'm
shaky on it.
I'm kindly asked to hunt with the patrol, so I sniff the air carefully.
Climb the tallest tree around. Gulp! That's a toughie.
My mentor tells me to wait until he calls me, then track him down.
I'm told to wait outside, and ambush my mentor inside.

Hmm. What a chalenging task! How do you handle it?

Hmm. What a chalenging task! How do you handle it?
We practice the badger defence swipe, I do it myself and my mentor looks proud!
I pick a blend of agile, fast and strong cats : Cinderheart, Sandstorm, Brambleclaw.
Guess I boss them around.
Hunt, I guess. I can't screw it! Oh! Caught a sparrow!
Plan my way up, look for paw holds and then slowly climb up. Yeah! Up already!
Sniff around and try to find a trail of my mentor. He picked a frequently patroled spot, so
it's hard! Eventually, I find him.
Very quietly, slide into the shadows and edge towards the wall. Scramble up it, and leap
on my mentor!

You mentor is very proud! You pad back to camp. Are you satisfied?

You mentor is very proud! You pad back to camp. Are you satisfied?
I'm not tired yet! I want to practice some more!
I hope the kits brought me the feathers I wanted!
I'm nervous! What if it's not enough!?
I'm rather proud myself!
I think it's too early to celebrate...
You never know.

Back in camp! Forget something?

Back in camp! Forget something?
Well, I forgot to swipe my left paw once...
Nah! Gosh, you nag hard!
Oh no! The elders and queens need to be fed! Better take my sparrow to the nursery.
Yeah, the queens and elders, I'm sure my mentor will understand if another apprentice
feeds them.
Ugh. Better quickly take a mouse for the elders, the queens will manage.
Darn! Scurry into your den! No way I'm gonna feed the picky hairballs!
