It’s so weird how people say 2020 is the worst year of their lives but it’s been really good to me.
-I was finally pushed out of this toxic “relationship” (aka he used me to cheat on his girlfriend) cycle because he’s having a baby. I was treated so unfairly and terrible all 2019, from new years 2019 to the end of January 2020 and I’m thankful he isn’t in my life anymore. He’s having his baby any day now and I am seriously happy for him and his new wife.
-I cried every day See More the week before school ended because I was being bullied and then it just stopped abruptly and since I had already been passing I didn’t even have to do any school work. I also didn’t have a prom date and I was afraid I’d be too sad to go.
-I’ve been on two good road trips and have significantly gotten closer to my parents. After the whole police incident happened in December, it’s good to know that they have my back and that I can rely on them to do things with.
-I didn’t realize it, but my friend group was toxic. My ‘best friend’ left me out of everything she posted, my friend group was extremely judgmental, and they all dropped me because of another toxic person. They can talk shit all they want to but it’s me that’s actually happy with my life.
-I got my permit today!
-I finally met someone who treats me with love and respect. His mom likes me and so does his siblings and I really feel like he loves me and I love him too. I feel at home with him. This may be it for my search and this is my future.
-I ditched my art thing because it wasn’t working for me anymore. But I’m on a new career path and it’s exciting.
It’s only August and I’m feeling bettered, relaxed, and ready to live my life. I’m about to be 18 and my life will truly start then. It’s good that I’m having a good year before I say goodbye to my childhood.
