Background: She lived in the same village as Hikari along with their two best friends Sting and Rogue. (I dont know anything about sting or rogues past so im kinda improvising) she stayed with the two boys up until about 7 when they split up to learn dragon slayer magic whilst looking for hikari after they lost her. The three vowed to come together again and find hikari so they can all be together again. After training with Eira, she found sting and rogue and the three keep looking for their blue haired friend. Now they all live together in an apartment, Emerald obviously having a room to herself. Emerald joined fairy tail before Hikari in the hopes of finding her there whilst sting and rogue joined sabertooth
